From my first experiences riding dressage my teachers always stressed the importance of having an exceptional seat and position. My long time teacher and mentor Dietrich von Hopffgarten made me ride for hours without stirrups to stress the importance of an independent seat and quiet aids. That upbringing has made me very conscious of how I sit, how my students sit and has influenced my own teaching immensely. I work very hard and am very proud of the seat and position I've developed because of that. A riders position is a daily struggle to keep working toward and that "perfect" position is ever elusive, but with my Trilogy saddles that struggle has now become easier!

I teach clinics up and down the West Coast and have students from Arizona to British Columbia who's positions have changed drastically for the better because of the Trilogy saddles. I push my students as hard as myself to sit well and quietly and have seen amazing changes in all of them that now ride in the Trilogy. People that have been working for years to get that special "sitting in" feeling in the sitting trot, instantly felt more secure and independent in the Trilogy. The depth of the seat allows you to relax your seat and feel secure and the knee roll is perfectly placed to encourage, but not force your leg to hang long and drape around the horses opening your hip angle ideally. There are 3 different models all with different seat depths, twist sizes and flap lengths making it possible to fit any shape or size of rider.

Between the places I travel for clinics and my own barn I have over 35 people in Trilogy saddles. I've been very enthusiastic about recommending them to my students because EVERY single saddle has the same workmanship, the same detail and most importantly the same feel.
