Since the age of seven I knew I wanted a career with horses; I just had to find my nitch and the best fit for me. Eight years ago I found that nitch in the form of saddle fitting. With the help, guidance, and training from Performance Saddlery, I have developed and gained a greater understanding of the horse and rider combination than I could have ever imagined. With that experience and knowledge and the most advanced saddle on the market today, there is a win/win situation for both horse and rider.
In 2006, I went to England to attain my Society of Masters Saddlers Overseas Saddle Fitters Certification. This was an amazing journey and an experience that I will never forget.
Through my job I have had the opportunity to meet amazing people and horses, which has also helped my riding education. I compete at 2nd level and will move up to 3rd in the spring of 2010. My horse is a fabulous Oldenburg school master named Fabian, whom I hope to attain my bronze medal on. I have two 3-years-olds that I will be started in the spring of 2010, one of which I hope will become my next competition horse.
When I look at my life I know that I am the luckiest person alive, to be able to go to work and help horses and riders achieve their goals and make them both comfortable! This career is my life and my love.
