For over 25 years I have been involved with the equine industry. My experiences range from instruction and competition to farm management. I have been fortunate to work with both national and internationally recognized horses and trainers. Personal exposure to eventing, driving, and dressage competitions have given me great insight into the complex and ever changing relationship between horse and rider.

I consider softness and lightness of the rider and horse partnership to be a major factor for success by allowing each partner to do their job through effective communication. The key element to develop that sense of touch and a more productive relationship is a correctly fitted saddle. To that end, I have spent the last five years custom fitting saddles that ensure clearer interaction between horse and rider. My customer base continues to grow through a superior product, the Albion line of saddles, and the honest and straightforward people at Performance Saddlery Inc. I wholeheartedly believe that a custom fitted Albion saddle has allowed me to take one of my average training level dressage horses through 3rd and 4th level competition while sighting on Prix St. George in the near future.

It is my goal to provide fair and reasonable service to clients while ensuring the maximum comfort to both horse and rider. I believe that by owning and competing at a variety of levels, I have better insight into horse and rider issues. My horses are my friends and I want my friends to be happy and comfortable. I really enjoy helping other people do the same.
